Dear SoulPhone family,
I am pleased to share good news about the SoulPhone Project directed by Gary E. Schwartz PhD, former Harvard and Yale professor who is now a senior professor at the University of Arizona.  Excellent progress has been achieved with both software and hardware needed for the Demonstration SoulSwitch (DSS).  Our wonderful team of electrical engineers and software specialists have worked diligently on this historic task.
We are very grateful for their assistance while working within our budget.  Mike, a genius software developer, is volunteering 25 or so hours per week!  He routinely completes every request from Dr. Schwartz and has earned our deep respect and trust.  Steve, who heads the electrical engineering team, has donated many hours of his time.  That allows us to afford the his services and those of his assistants.  These two and other key team members will, quite probably, become famous someday since their roles are integral to the project’s success.
Their legendary AND discounted / volunteered work makes us seriously consider that The Cosmos / G.O.D. thinks we on Earth are finally ready for this technology.
Research and development (R & D) to date has been an arduous undertaking due to the highly sensitive nature of the equipment.  It’s also very difficult due to the many variables that must be controlled to create an accurate, reliable, and rapid responses from postmaterial persons (PMP).  )To learn more about them, see article #31 Postmaterial Persons.)  For example, researchers have recently tested the effects of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, cosmic ray levels, ionization of air, and other factors that affect performance of the device.

That’s one reason I haven’t updated you for three months.  There wasn’t much to tell unless you wanted to fall asleep reading mind numbing details about the research that you probably wouldn’t understand anyway.  In addition, as longtime supporters know, there are also limitations to what I can share.

Getting back to the Demo SoulSwitch . . . to be clear, this device is NOT the Breakthrough SoulSwitch (BTSS) required for moving into R & D on the SoulKeyboard.  That phase of the work will require more funds than we currently receive.  We know that things will unfold as they should given the big picture of life.  However, developments with the DSS also advance progress with the BTSS.

Our current thinking is that DSS technology will be used in the following ways:

1. Beta testing with material persons.  Material persons’ (MPs) are defined as those living on earth now.  We don’t say ‘humans’ because PMPs — those who have passed on — are still human in very meaningful ways.  The DSS device must first be tested with MPs to calibrate, detect and correct ‘glitches’, and ensure sufficient robustness of the system.

2. Beta testing with A-Team members.  That is our term for a group of 30 or so scientists, educators, dynamic entertainers, and a few ‘more ordinary’ people.  Some of these luminary PMPs have worked with Dr. Schwartz for 20 years.  We are, needless to say, ultra-excited to collect data with them using a Yes / No signal detection device.

3. Beta testing with ‘more ordinary PMPs.  This research with the DSS is important since all of the testing so far has been with A-Team members.  We want to evaluate how well our relatives and other dear ones can use the equipment.  This step is especially important before starting #7 – .

4. Scientific research to hopefully gain input from A-Team members that assists development of SoulKeyboard, SoulAudio, and SoulVideo devices.

Later, multi-center studies will be conducted at universities around the world.  (We were going to do this several years ago with the Tesla Coil Switch but wanted to wait for the current DSS device which is much better.)  Obtaining this level of replication will greatly increase credibility and further introduce academics to Soul Science topics.

5. Clinical research to advance communication with PMPs.  This will initially focus on A-Team members and our evidential research mediums.  This collaboration will allow greater contact with them and, hopefully, a greater quantity and quality of input that goes beyond Yes / No answers.

6. Clinical research to learn more about the afterlife.  We have so many questions about what the next phase of life is like.  For example, some evidence indicates that the next realm varies, depending on a number of factors, for different people / souls.  But is that really true?  (To learn more, see article #107 What Is the Afterlife Like?)

One way to start would be to survey 20 PMPs about the same question.  Questions might include: ‘Do you have to sleep?  Do you have to eat food?  Is there always great weather where you are?  Can you multilocate?  Do you have concrete plans for helping us on earth?’  The list goes on and on.

7. ‘Thank You’ sessions for project volunteers.  We anticipate that this will occur concurrently with #4 – 6.  Some of these volunteers have helped for over seven years and this is one way to thank them.  These sessions will also allow us to further test the technology and create a more satisfactory customer experience before #8.

8. ‘Thank you’ sessions for Ambassador level donors.  (To learn more about this gift and many others to our donors, visit Membership & Donations at SoulPhone.com.)  The SoulPhone project has been able to move forward because of substantial donations from a relatively small group of people.  (We hope that providing DSS sessions will motivate others to donate so we can proceed more quickly with SoulKeyboard R & D.)

These visionary funders, who donated $10,000 or more, will receive — depending on the amount of their donations — one or more DSS sessions with a PMP loved one.  This level of contact will likely trigger a profoundly life-changing event and help them know that their loved ones are very much alive, well, and in touch.  (see article #17 Spiritually Transformative Experiences).

We eventually will provide pro-bono sessions — most likely with the SoulKeyboard — for those who cannot afford to donate anything.  However, we don’t currently have the luxury of doing this.  Demo SoulSwitch sessions are largely for research and ‘thank you’ to past donors.)

9. Demonstrations to potential large donors.  Some newsletter subscriber complain that I discuss funding too much.  I can understand their concern since some / most companies are so focused on money.  However, the SoulPhone Project is primarily funded through two non-profit foundations: the SoulPhone Foundation and the University of Arizona Foundation.  This work is very expensive; we can currently only proceed at a walking pace but we are thankful for that.  However, better results can be achieved more quickly with greater funding.  We hope that, after a DSS, people with great wealth will donate larger amounts so we can do this.

10. Demonstrations to the public.  First impressions count so we will only publicly demonstrate the best possible and thoroughly tested technology.

Regarding time lines, Dr. Schwartz hopes to show the Demo SoulSwitch at a large conference in August of this year.  As you can see, there is much to do before then, but we are excited to finally reach this level of the work.

(I apologize for the plethora of acronyms in this newsletter.  However, developing futuristic technology, and fully benefiting from it, requires using new terms.  These advancements will, quite likely, benefit all people and our planet.  To learn more about this, see article #119 Eleven Ways to Make Yourself and Our World Better at SoulProof.com.  I encourage you to use these acronyms in your everyday speech and share them with others.)
Thank you for your interest and support via donations both small and large.  This technology has the potential to help many people, on earth and beyond, as well as our planet.  Your gifts are helping this wonderful outcome to eventually occur.  To learn more about levels of giving and great gifts you’ll receive, visit Membership and Donations.

Hugs, blessings, and postmaterial communication,
Mark
